Affiliate and Sponsor Disclosure

How They Keep You Broke will identify paid relationships, affiliate links, free products, and sponsor involvement.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Plain-language disclosure

If we may earn money, receive free products, receive referral credit, or have another material relationship connected to a recommendation or link, we intend to say so clearly near the related content.

Affiliate links

Some future links may be affiliate links. If you purchase or sign up through one, Darkhorse Traders LLC may receive compensation without changing your price, unless stated otherwise.

Sponsorships

Sponsored videos, placements, newsletter sections, or resources will be identified. A sponsor may review factual statements about its product, but paid participation should not be hidden or presented as independent investigation.

Free products and access

If a company provides a product, service, access, travel, data, or other benefit related to coverage, that relationship should be disclosed when it could matter to the audience.

Editorial standard

Payment does not make a product useful. We aim to reject partnerships that reproduce the same pressure, hidden-cost, or low-information problems the channel investigates.

No endorsement guarantee

A link or mention is not a guarantee that a product is right for you. Review terms, fees, eligibility, privacy, cancellation, and alternatives yourself.
